PSI Audio are delighted to announce that Ateis UK will be the main distributor of Loudspeakers & Stereo Monitoring Systems for the UK and Europe. PSI Audio are Swiss manufacturers of superb quality active studio monitoring loudspeakers and surround sound systems.

So who are PSI Audio?

PSI Audio production is split between two manufacturing sites.

The cabinet making facility is located in St. Croix, a small town in the Swiss Jura mountains. A centre for the crafting of fine musical instruments and lavish music boxes since the 19th century, St. Croix's highly skilled craftsman also have a rich history in the developement of high-tech audio and visual equipment. This combination of traditional and modern skills can be seen in the quality and finish of our speaker cabinets.

Product development, electronics design, manufacture and assembly are executed at the PSI Audio facility in Yverdon. Located at the foot of the Jura on lake Neuchatel, the facility also houses PSI Audio's commercial Headquarters and distribution centre. Built in 1989, the facility is designed around PSI Audio's huge anechoic chamber - the heart of the company!

 The Brit Oval has recently upgraded to Ateis LAP networked audio processors. The LAP offered superior sound quality, as well as being easy to program and suitable for the expansion that the client has in mind for the years to come.

Liverpool Cathedral has recently had Ateis Messenger steerable line array columns installed to improve intelligibility in a difficult acoustic environment.

Ateis' range stretches from standards compliant voice alarm systems to professional audio signal processing networks. Using advanced DSP algorithms it has also created steerable line array column loudspeakers and class leading counter intercoms systems, pa systems and voice alarms. 

The IDA4M and and DIVA8M voice alarm product lines comply to BS5839pt8 and EN60849 standards for voice evacuation and emergency sound systems. Ateis is also working to stay at the forefront of the pa/va system industry by ensuring EN54-16 compliance for its voice alarm products. In the UK, the IDA4M has been installed on a number of prestigious sites including the Royal Festival Hall.
